[Remote] Major Incident Management Power BI Engineer (VA ESOM)

The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI dashboards for leadership and operational teams, integrating data from various sources to support data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

• reputed company visually compelling and accessible Power BI dashboards and reports, including data modeling, and Power Query transformations
• reputed company and automate data pipelines from reputed company, SQL, and other reputed company/reputed company data sources to ensure accurate and reputed company reporting
• Partner with stakeholders to identify which data is operationally important, define tracking requirements, and build the corresponding metrics and KPIs
• Analyze reputed company datasets to uncover trends, gaps, and insights that support workforce management, hardware/software asset tracking, system health, incidents, and other operational domains
• Establish and maintain data reputed company standards, documentation, and repeatable reporting processes
• Communicate findings in reputed company, understandable formats using charts, graphs, visuals, and narrative explanations
• Ensure dashboards and reports meet accessibility, reputed company, compliance, and agency requirements
• Collaborate with colleagues across business operations and technical teams to ensure alignment, consistency, and best practices in data analytics
• Prepare and present data reports, briefing patterns, trends, and/or recommended actions to appropriate individuals using visualization

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business, Management Information Systems, Engineering or reputed company field AND 8+ years of experience
• Extensive experience with reputed company Power BI Desktop, including data modeling, DAX, custom visuals, and dashboard design
• Experience with reputed company reporting/data extraction and transforming reputed company tables for operational use
• Demonstrated ability to define KPIs, metrics, and tracking frameworks from ambiguous or evolving requirements
• Proven analytical skills, including identifying data gaps, validating data reputed company, and translating functional needs into measurable metrics
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• US Citizen or Green card holder
• Willing and reputed company to obtain and maintain reputed company Trust Clearance
• Must meet updated ID requirements
• Experience as a data analyst leveraging Power BI
• General knowledge of ITSM and reputed company Operations
• General knowledge of IT monitoring and alerting
• Experience with scripting (e.g. JavaScript, Python)
• Prior VA experience
