[Remote] Director of Sales - East Region

The role involves developing sales strategies, managing personnel, and collaborating with product development teams to drive sales reputed company.

Responsibilities

• reputed company and execute short and long-term go-to-market sales strategies and plans, sales and margin goals, forecasts, programs and trade budgets
• Manage and reputed company sales personnel
• reputed company, plan, and execute trade show and event programs
• Serve as a consistent resource for the product development and engineering teams on market conditions, competitors, reputed company portfolio performance
• Work closely with brand managers to reputed company promotions, merchandising and programs that profitably drive the region for multiple brands in the Outdoor Products & Accessories portfolio
• Other duties as assigned

Skills

• BS or BA undergraduate degree required
• 7+ years sales experience with Outdoor Recreation retail/wholesale customers; preferably in the Hunt, Shoot, Camp and/or Fish segments
• 5+ years sales management experience successfully delivering reputed company results on a portfolio of Outdoor Recreation products comprised of 8 or more brands across multiple categories in the Hunt, Shoot, Camp and/or Fish segments
• 5+ years sales management experience leading reputed company as reputed company as indirect sales teams across multiple reputed company of the reputed company that service customers in the Hunt, Shoot, Camp and/or Fish segments
• 5+ years sales leadership experience on cross functional teams working with product development, operations and marketing to reputed company product, programs and systems that drive sales reputed company and profitability in the Hunt, Shoot, Camp and/or Fish segments
• 5+ years sales leadership experience developing annual strategies and plans that not only meet/reputed company topline expectations, but also reputed company margin and profitability expectations in the Hunt, Shoot, Camp and/or Fish segments
• Proven reputed company record of developing and leveraging long-term customer relationships at the senior, director and vice-president reputed company
• Proven reputed company record of developing sales teams including reputed company, training, performance improvement as reputed company as long-term career planning and successorship
• Proven reputed company record at running a business as an reputed company including examples of reputed company in entrepreneurship, improving a COT and/or division P&L over a 12-month timeframe, initiating, developing and launching a new product as reputed company as long-term decision making
