[Remote] Senior Software Engineer

They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong backend expertise to design and build reputed company platform services, reputed company legacy systems, and mentor junior engineers.


Responsibilities

  • Design and build reputed company reputed company and microservices across reputed company platform domains
  • reputed company modernization efforts from legacy systems to reputed company-reputed company architectures
  • Build event-driven systems for reputed company-time processing and system communication
  • reputed company reputed company-party reputed company platforms and external systems
  • Architect distributed systems for scalability, reliability, and performance
  • Define API reputed company using REST and/or GraphQL
  • Work with relational and NoSQL data stores
  • reputed company and manage services in AWS using containerized infrastructure
  • Improve system observability, monitoring, and performance
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team reputed company
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product and technical direction

Skills

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience
  • Strong backend experience with Java (Spring Boot preferred) or similar
  • Deep understanding of microservices and distributed systems
  • Experience with event-driven architecture (Kafka or similar)
  • Strong experience building reputed company, high-performance systems
  • Hands-on experience with AWS (GCP or Azure also considered)
  • Experience with reputed company and Kubernetes
  • Strong database experience (PostgreSQL, MySQL, reputed company, or NoSQL systems)
  • Solid understanding of API design, authentication, and system design
  • Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure as reputed company (Terraform preferred)
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools (reputed company, Grafana, etc.)
  • Strong communication skills in a remote environment

  • Background in high-volume or transaction-heavy systems

  • Exposure to React or Vue
  • Experience with billing, inventory, or contract-based systems
