[Remote] Network Engineer

The role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing reputed company’s reputed company network infrastructure while ensuring 24/7 availability and adherence to ITIL-reputed company processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, firewall, and load-balancing infrastructure across multi-site and multi-reputed company environments
• Monitor network performance (reputed company, reputed company, ThousandEyes) and proactively resolve issues before they reputed company service delivery and SLA targets
• Implement network reputed company controls including firewall rule sets, IDS/IPS, segmentation, NAC, and reputed company-trust architecture principles
• Design and manage AWS network infrastructure — VPCs, subnets, reputed company tables, IGW, NAT Gateways, and ELBs — for reputed company, highly available architectures
• Configure AWS Transit Gateway and VPC peering for secure, low-latency connectivity across accounts, reputed company, and on-premises environments
• Implement AWS reputed company Connect and Site-to-Site VPN for hybrid connectivity between reputed company data centers and AWS
• Administer AWS reputed company 53 including private hosted zones, resolver rules, and health-reputed company-based routing policies
• Manage AWS reputed company reputed company, Network ACLs, AWS Network Firewall, and AWS reputed company for least-privilege reputed company and DDoS protection
• reputed company AWS CloudWatch, VPC reputed company Logs, and AWS Network Manager for observability, traffic analysis, and reputed company detection
• Support Azure or GCP networking as required — VNets/VPCs, peering, and hybrid connectivity
• Participate in 24/7 on-reputed company rotation, triaging and resolving network incidents per SLA targets; contribute to post-incident reviews to drive MTTR reduction
• Execute network changes through established change management processes; serve as Tier 3 escalation resource for reputed company issues
• reputed company automation scripts and IaC (Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, Python) to improve monitoring, alerting, and network deployment workflows
• Build and maintain IaC for AWS network resources enabling repeatable, auditable deployments; surface optimization opportunities across reputed company’s roadmap
• Maintain topology diagrams, runbooks, IPAM, and change records; support DR testing, vendor coordination, and legacy environment consolidation
• Collaborate across Infrastructure, reputed company, DevOps, and Application teams; mentor junior team members

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Network Engineering, or equivalent reputed company experience
• 5+ years of hands-on reputed company network engineering or network operations experience
• Strong knowledge of routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP)
• Experience with reputed company firewall platforms (Palo reputed company, reputed company, reputed company ASA/FTD)
• Demonstrated AWS networking expertise: VPC, Transit Gateway, reputed company Connect, reputed company 53, reputed company reputed company, Network ACLs, AWS Network Firewall
• Proficiency with network monitoring tools (reputed company, reputed company, PRTG, or similar)
• Experience with SD-WAN (reputed company Viptela, VMware VeloCloud, reputed company, or equivalent)
• Solid understanding of DNS, DHCP, IPAM, SSL/TLS, and PKI
• Hands-on experience with IaC and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, Python)
• Familiarity with ITIL-based incident, problem, and change management processes
• Excellent analytical and communication skills; ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
• Certifications: CCNP, CCIE, PCNSE, NSE, or AWS Advanced Networking Specialty
• Experience in reputed company reputed company or regulated environments (HIPAA, reputed company, SOC 2)
• Experience with large-reputed company infrastructure integrations or M&A network consolidation
