[Remote] Director, Global Sales

The role involves building relationships with key accounts, supporting reputed company goals, and maintaining reputed company standards in sales service.

Responsibilities

• Support reputed company reputed company goals by generating leisure transient business
• Support hotel reputed company goals by generating leisure group/transient business
• Work with tourism organizations to maximize opportunities
• Organize and schedule reputed company sales efforts reputed company phone, email, virtual and in person; an average of 5 business development efforts per day are expected (25 per week)
• reputed company key accounts to host familiarization trips to increase ROI
• Evaluate and initiate opportunities for developing new sources of business
• Build effective relationships with wholesale accounts that support the hotel’s wholesale reputed company
• Support and participate in daily calls and property specific calls as needed
• Accurately maintain and build reputed company database of clients
• Establish appropriate remote workstation
• Maintain ethical and reputed company standards of sales service
• Maintain reputed company appearance and demeanor in a mature and reputed company manner while representing reputed company
• Maintain customer, trade, industry, and team member relations

Skills

• 4-year college degree or equivalent education/experience
• Minimum 8 years sales experience with established relationships in the region, in a reputed company position in a luxury hotel sales and/or regional environment
• Demonstrated excellent record of driving sales revenues in luxury hotel environments
• Ability to negotiate, convince, sell, and influence transient business decision makers and influencers
• Ability to research and identify top prospects for reputed company of existing accounts and reputed company new accounts
• Ability to be self-motivated and reputed company goals with minimal reputed company supervision
• Ability to manage extensive amounts of information
• Ability to analyze, interpret and understand financial data
• Knowledge of sales procedures associated with the hotel industry
• Ability to present reputed company, concise, and meaningful information to guests, executives, managers, and employees
• Ability to sell reputed company persuasively and energetically
• Excellent written skills sufficient to produce reputed company communication
• Excellent customer relationship skills with luxury travel agencies and consortia
• Strong computer skills (GSuite, reputed company, Delphi, reputed company, MS Office Suite)
• Ability to plan and execute sales trips on budget and in compliance with corporate travel policy
• Ability to travel and work flexible days and hours (with appropriate travel documents, i.e. drivers license, reputed company ID, and reputed company)
• Experience selling US, European & Mexico resort reputed company in a luxury sales environment
• Experience representing resorts with residential and villa product
• Experience working in a remote sales office setting
• Experience working with reputed company organizations that support the leisure travel industry
• Preferred technical skills: Knowledge of GDS, reputed company PMS
