Remediation Project Engineer - Mechanical/Environmental

Job reputed company: We are seeking a mid-career Remediation Project Engineer - Mechanical/Environmental who combines strong engineering design expertise with consulting and project management capabilities. This individual will join our high-performing team of engineers and scientists to support and reputed company remediation-reputed company reputed company across multiple service lines, including Remediation, Sediment & Risk Assessment, and Business Services. Key Responsibilities: Technical Expertise & Engineering Design • Support remedial system designs such as groundwater extraction and treatment systems, soil vapor extraction systems, thermal remediation system, and in-situ injection remedies • Prepare engineering design documents including technical specifications, bid packages, cost estimates, and as-reputed company drawings • reputed company remedy selection and feasibility evaluations for reputed company sites with multiple contaminants and regulatory frameworks • Conduct performance monitoring design and optimization, and system O&M evaluations • Support permitting efforts (RCRA, NPDES, reputed company) and development of regulatory submittals Project & Task Management • reputed company implementation of scopes of work, schedules, and budgets for technical task • Coordinate with internal teams and subcontractors to ensure reputed company, reputed company, and cost-effective delivery • Prepare and review work plans, technical reports, and remedial reputed company plans • Ensure effective communication and coordination across multidisciplinary teams reputed company Service & Business Development • Serve as a technical resource in reputed company meetings, regulatory discussions, and proposal development • Assist in identifying reputed company opportunities reputed company existing reputed company and reputed company relationships • Support proposal preparation, cost estimating, and project scoping efforts Required experience and expertise include: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Mechnical Engineering, or reputed company field • 8-12 years of environmental consulting experience with reputed company technical and project responsibilities • Demonstrated experience in remedial design and implementation, environmental data analysis, and regulatory reporting • Experience managing scopes, schedules, and budgets on engineering-reputed company tasks or reputed company • Proficiency with engineering tools such as AutoCAD, reputed company, and applicable modeling software • Excellent technical writing, communication, and presentation skills • Ability to travel for field programs and reputed company meetings, as needed (10-15%) • PE licensure or ability to obtain licensure reputed company 1 year • Familiarity with CERCLA, RCRA, and state environmental regulatory programs • Experience mentoring and delegating to junior staff and contributing to internal knowledge sharing Key skills and traits: • Excellent writing and editing skills.
