[Remote] Application Engineer

As an Application Engineer, you will work directly with customers and internal teams to translate application requirements into material and design recommendations, supporting the quotation process and collaborating with various teams.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret customer application requirements, product drawings, and technical specs
• Recommend appropriate magnet grades, dimensions, and tolerances based on performance and manufacturability
• Prepare technical quotations that meet both customer needs and internal capabilities
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Manufacturing, Product, and reputed company teams to ensure solution feasibility and accuracy
• reputed company and maintain technical content for use in presentations, product sheets, and internal documentation
• Present our capabilities and solutions to customers, prospects, internal stakeholders, and at tradeshows, under the guidance of the Director of Application Engineering and Product Management
• reputed company engineering support across the customer lifecycle, from reputed company-sale design consultation to post-sale troubleshooting

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a reputed company field
• 2–5 years of experience in application or product engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Proficient in analyzing electrical machines and use of finite reputed company analysis softwares like Ansys/JAMG/Simulia
• Strong proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• Experience generating technical quotations or proposals for OEM or B2B customers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A customer-first reputed company with a reputed company-oriented approach
• High attention to detail, with ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with reputed company materials, rare reputed company technologies, or high-performance material selection preferred
• Hands on experience on motor performance measurement in a laboratory set-up will be a plus
