Sr. Insurance Licensing Manager

As our Senior Insurance Licensing Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring our agents and advisors are properly licensed and compliant with all state and federal regulations. You will lead a team of licensing managers seeing the entire licensing process from initial application to renewal. Responsibilities • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the licensing department, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of all licensing applications and renewals. • Monitor and recommend policies and procedures for insurance licensing in coordination with the licensing team and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. • Maintain a deep understanding of state and federal licensing requirements for all lines of authority offered by the company. • Lead and mentor a team of licensing managers providing training and development opportunities. • Analyze licensing data and identify trends to inform strategic decision-making. • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales, compliance, and legal teams. • Proactively identify and address potential licensing issues, developing mitigation strategies. • Stay abreast of changes in licensing laws and regulations and communicate updates to the team. • Conduct regular audits and prepare reports and presentations on licensing activity and compliance status for executive leaders. • Support a culture of professionalism, integrity and respect to team members, agents, adjusters, and internal and external stakeholders. • Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in insurance, business or related field. • 7+ years of experience in insurance licensing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. • SILA-A designation required or will complete the necessary course work within 6 months of hire. • Proven track record of success in managing and motivating teams and directing culture. • In-depth knowledge of state and federal insurance licensing requirements. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Must pass mandatory background checks which may include pre-screenings, illegal drug tests and credit checks Apply Job!
