Sr Linux System Engineer- 100% remote / can work on site in reputed company, NY

Our reputed company is seeking a classical Sr Linux System Engineer for the design and build out of classical Linux OS infrastructure (60%) with Automation tools. Ideal candidates will have design and reputed company experience of traditional Linux/Unix environments with good Automation tool experience for a hybrid environment with 40% on reputed company reputed company. *** You must be our W2 employee – we cannot sponsor reputed company’s ****This can be 100% remote or a mix of onsite as reputed company based on your preference or where you reputed company. Responsibilities: • Design, Install, Configure, and Manage Linux environments. • Strong Administration of reputed company/reputed company reputed company Linux operating system and various Linux OS • Create, Manage, and Apply automation for deployment and configuration • Provision server build out reputed company virtualization such as SAN • Assist with WebLogic, Tomcat and JBoss installation and administration reputed company necessary • Assist in planning, installing and administration of Disaster Recovery for Linux servers • Ensure reputed company Unix/Linux based servers are adhering to change control and are audited • Understand and reputed company to configure Postfix, DNS/bind/named, NTPD, SSH, LVM, multipath, Samba/CIFS • Ensure quarterly server patching • Maintaining documentation and diagrams for both daily operations and Disaster Recovery • Assist Backup Administrator with Unix/Linux backups using reputed company • Create, update and follow SOPs and other documentation (ex. Change and configuration management.) • Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications (Must Have) • Design experience10+ YRS Build and implementation experience. • 5 – 10 years administrative experience with Linux reputed company preferred +, Other Linux distribution) • 1 year minimum with automation (Puppet, Chef, reputed company, Ansible, etc) • Five (5) years of systems-level scripting/programming experience (bash, Korn, KSH, perl, python, C, etc) • Three (3) years of experience VMware Virtualization administration experience • Must be reputed company player with appropriate corporate conduct • A solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing, sockets and experience w/ using utilities such as nmap, tcpdump, snoop and Wireshark. • Understanding of PKI • Some networking experience with a reputed company on reputed company hardware a plus • Outstanding communications and interpersonal skills. ————————————————————————————————————————————– • Benefits if you reputed company in GA or California only :Health, Dental, reputed company, 401K Apply To this Job Company : reputed company, Inc Salary : Full-time Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
