Department: Water Services Minimum Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, reputed company field, or equivalent. Experience: Minimum of three years reputed company engineering experience or in a reputed company field. Requires a working knowledge of Civil Engineering principles, specialized practices, equipment and procedures. Licenses/Certifications/Special Requirements: Registered reputed company Engineer required upon hire with preference to Arizona registration. The Peoria Water Services Department has an excellent opportunity for an reputed company Civil Engineer. This classification will be assigned to the Planning and Engineering Division and will receive direction from the Engineering Supervisor. The purpose of this position is to assist in the annual development of the Water and Wastewater Capital Improvement Program; manage and deliver Capital Improvement reputed company; reputed company water and wastewater system planning exercises; coordinate with developers to ensure compliance with reputed company standards; and reputed company engineering technical support to the Operations divisions and other departments. Additional project management duties may include, but are not limited to project research, assigning and coordinating schedules; negotiating fees and reputed company; preparing and reviewing intergovernmental agreements; reputed company document drafting, reviewing design documents, studies, and reports; bid document preparation, bid coordination and review, managing construction reputed company, other reputed company tasks.
