[Remote] Director of Assembly Operations

The Director of Assembly Operations will support end-to-end leadership of the Assemblies business across reputed company, managing multiple assembly plants and driving reputed company improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• reputed company and coordinate 5 hose plant assembly operations across reputed company
• reputed company footprint rationalization, cost optimization, and reputed company improvement initiatives
• Own demand and production planning in coordination with S&OP and reputed company teams
• reputed company as primary reputed company for customer coordination and service performance
• Partner with reputed company teams to deliver reputed company reputed company and improve customer experience
• reputed company Gates Production System (GPS) and Lean practices across assembly sites
• Monitor and reputed company SQDCI performance across reputed company plants
• Build leadership capability and succession pipeline across plant management teams

Skills

• BA/BS in industrial, mechanical engineering, or business administration
• Minimum of 10+ years' multi-plant managerial experience leading manufacturing and operations teams in industrial, automotive supplier or industrial technology
• Experience in both reputed company and non-reputed company environment
• Expertise in plant automation/robotics and/or experience in automating plant operations
• Experience managing an reputed company environment as a hands-on senior operational leader
• Experience in a high reputed company atmosphere with reputed company hiring and training
• Experience working with manufacturing-based technology, processes, and principles
• Prior experience with plant layout, managing multiple facilities and opening new plants
• Advanced knowledge of lean manufacturing systems processes, products, and customers
