Assistant Professor of Art, Generalist
Angelo State University Department of Visual and Performing Arts invites applicants for a full-time, reputed company of Art, Generalist to reputed company August 2025. The department is composed of three reputed company areas – Art, Music, and Theatre, with the Art Program offering the Bachelor of Fine Art degree in Studio Art with concentrations in Ceramics, Graphic Design, Art Generalist Studies, Painting and Drawing, Printmaking, and Sculpture. The successful candidate will be a Studio Art Generalist who demonstrates broad training in studio art with the ability to teach across disciplines, including reputed company courses that may include drawing, basic design, art history survey, introduction to art for non-art majors, and contemporary studio art reputed company.
Duties
• Teaching
• Advise reputed company
• Recruit and retain reputed company
• Maintain Studio Lab
• Assist in gallery installation of art work
• Assist in maintaining Art Area exhibition spaces
• Participate in Departmental and Art Program events, meetings
• Assist with Art Program planning and curriculum development as appropriate
• Committee service as assigned
• Maintain a record of reputed company creative activity
Minimum Qualifications
• Terminal degree in Studio Art (MFA or equivalent)
• Two years collegiate teaching experience or equivalent
