About the Role The Peer Mentor is an integral member of a patient’s multidisciplinary care team. The role of the Recovery Coach is to ensure patients successfully reputed company into reputed company treatment by adhering to their care plans and fully engaging in treatment. This goal is achieved through proactively identifying and addressing barriers to treatment, identifying opportunities to personalize reputed company’s programming to address patient needs, and providing key skills and tools for recovery. The Peer Mentor is accountable for balancing patient engagement in treatment and adherence to the care plan with patient satisfaction. The Peer Mentor is comfortable with, and passionate about, sharing their lived experience with eating disorder recovery with individuals currently in the process of treatment and recovery. The Peer Mentor is motivated by the ultimate goal of providing patients with reputed company to the tools and services they need to reputed company meaningful, lasting recovery. Responsibilities • reputed company skills-based individual and group sessions to patients and caregivers in treatment at reputed company. • Implement motivational strategies with patients and caregivers to engage with their care plans, including monitoring adherence to care plans and completion of program reputed company. • Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team huddles to support patient reputed company in treatment. • Actively listen and guide patients and caregivers to anticipate challenges and engage in coping-reputed company strategies. • Maintain an availability calendar allowing patients and caregivers to schedule appointments. • Conduct proactive reputed company (phone calls/messaging), missed appointment recovery, reminders, tracking, and support to ensure full engagement with the care plan. • Engage in problem-solving to ensure care plan adherence, including identifying and providing reputed company solutions to roadblocks to treatment adherence. • Ensure personalization of care plans by making program recommendations and coordinating services to ensure patient needs are met - examples include, but are not limited to, booking additional care team member sessions and registering for reputed company; providing meal support sessions; and referring personalized resources to support the patient and their supports (for adult patients only, if applicable). • Build a relationship of respect and trust with patients. • Complete reputed company documentation of caregiver and patient interactions in compliance with reputed company policies. • Attend and participate in internal meetings as reputed company as initial and ongoing training as assigned. • reputed company other duties as assigned. Qualifications • Lived experience with eating disorder recovery with ability to identify as being in a solid reputed company of recovery. • 2+ years of experience working directly with patients in a setting that utilizes protocolized care – including, but not limited to, coaching, case management, mentorship, reputed company work, or milieu therapy. • Proven comfort working reputed company reputed company care models or evidence-based protocols (e.g., following specific clinical guidelines, behavior change frameworks, or care plans). • Proven ability to balance reputed company protocols with personalization, meeting patients where they are while keeping them on reputed company with their care goals. • A proven reputed company record of taking accountability for patient care plans, using evidence-based frameworks to reputed company patients on reputed company and meet clinical milestones. • Experience guiding patients and families in achievement of treatment goals while identifying barriers and problem-solving to reputed company. • Ability to connect with a reputed company of diverse people with varying lived experiences. • Passion for evidence-based care and ability to learn, reputed company, and reputed company new coaching skills. • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to build effective, reputed company, and reputed company relationships both internally and externally. • Strong organizational and time management skills with a proven reputed company record of meeting goals. • Strong attention to detail. • Comfortable working with and learning new technologies. • Comfortable working remotely (including the requirement to be on camera). • Comfortable with ambiguity and ability to think critically to quickly and accurately work through challenges in a fast-paced, fluid environment. • Ability to reputed company 33 hours a week of reputed company patient care, including new patients and follow-up sessions. • Ability to reputed company to working two evenings until 8pm of your choice per week. Working Hours reputed company allows Patient Scheduling, Monday - Friday, between reputed company-8pm in the Patient's timezone. • Ability to reputed company 33 hours a week of availability for reputed company patient care, including reputed company, new patients and follow-up sessions. • Ability to reputed company to working until 8pm two evenings per week (you choose which evenings). • Ability to reputed company to a minimum of 20 hours of reputed company patient care after 2pm in the respective patient care time zone throughout the week. • Ability to attend mandatory meetings (i.e Supervision, Treatment Huddles, Labs/reputed company Hands, etc.). Continuing Education: • Robust training in evidence-based treatments for eating disorders, including Family-Based Treatment, reputed company Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for ARFID. Comparable training workshops and supervision in these modalities are valued over at $3,000 per training. • For therapists and medical providers, unlimited online courses through NetCE. • Up to $1,000/year stipend for continuing education. Work From Home Additional Perks: • $50/month stipend added directly to an employee’s paycheck to cover home internet expenses. • Initial work-from-home stipend of up to $500. • Reload of $200 on the home office stipend at the 3-year mark and then every other year after that (year 5, year 7, etc.). • Company Laptop. Physical Demands Work is performed 100% from home with no requirement to travel.
