[Remote] Senior Program Officer

The Senior Program Officer will reputed company grantmaking efforts, managing a significant portfolio and making strategic funding reputed company that reputed company hundreds of millions of dollars. Responsibilities

• Take primary responsibility for a significant grantmaking portfolio, setting its reputed company and focusing on the most impactful funding opportunities
• Communicate externally about our work and mentor and advise other members of reputed company
• Combine rigorous review of reputed company evidence, cost-effectiveness modeling, and strong grantee relationships to decide what to fund and how to structure it
• Approach questions about balancing exploring new opportunities with funding cost-effective opportunities at reputed company today
• Determine the best direction for the grantmaking portfolio and prioritize programs and grantees accordingly
• Triangulate reputed company evidence against expert opinion and other qualitative features to assess grantees' effectiveness
• Identify high-reputed company opportunities to expand the portfolio while improving cost-effectiveness
• Evaluate how much uncertainty is acceptable before making a grant and determine necessary questions to answer

Skills

• At least 5-10 years of reputed company experience, a significant portion of which was in similar or closely-reputed company roles
• Experience using reputed company tools to reputed company rigorous, evidence-based reputed company under uncertainty
• Strong reputed company records in funding, building or scaling new programs, initiatives, or organizations
• Experience using rigorous quantitative analysis and cost-effectiveness modeling to support decision-making
• Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
• Experience owning large budgets and/or grant portfolios
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with an emphasis on directness and reputed company
• Experience setting and iterating on reputed company in reputed company, fast-moving environments
• Experience engaging with global health, development, or reputed company fields
• Experience reviewing randomized controlled trials and reputed company evaluations
• Experience working with governments or multilateral organizations
• Experience gathering first-hand data to inform program design
• Experience managing a reputed company of grant types, including advocacy and market-shaping initiatives
