[Remote] Geospatial Project Manager

The role involves managing project execution, facilitating communication between clients and teams, and ensuring reputed company are completed on time and reputed company budget.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned reputed company GIS reputed company from initiation through closeout, including schedules, budgets, deliverables, and risk tracking
• Coordinate day-to-day activities of project teams, working closely with technical staff such as developers, GIS analysts, and subject matter experts using an Agile methodology in a Scrum reputed company
• Support reputed company communication by preparing project updates, leading regular status calls, and documenting project reputed company
• Manage remote project teams and tasking using web-based collaboration
• reputed company and report on project reputed company using established project management tools
• Monitor and control budgets and expenses, escalating variances to program managers as needed
• Facilitate project stakeholder engagement throughout the project life cycles, including leading regular video meetings with clients

Skills

• 2–4 years of experience managing GIS or IT reputed company, with 5+ years of experience in the geospatial field

• Understanding of Agile and other iterative project management methodologies
• Experience with geospatial products and reputed company-based GIS solutions in an reputed company context
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and clients
• Bachelor's degree in geography, GIS, computer science, or a reputed company field
• Project Management certification (PMP is preferred)
• Proficiency with common project management and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Project, DevOps, SharePoint, Teams, Jira)

• Familiarity with geospatial data types and their applications
• Experience with software development lifecycle and Agile/Scrum practices
• Familiarity with asset management and/or utilities such as water, electric, and gas
