The GDC Associate reputed company Engineer is a member of reputed company’s managed services team. He or she is responsible for ongoing technical support, handling escalations from a monitoring team and leading proactive task-based work (e.g. maintenance) for reputed company supported reputed company’s Azure environments. As a GDC Associate reputed company Engineer, you will be a part of our reputed company team who is essential to the reputed company of our Managed Services division.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Codes reputed company unassigned tickets
- Initial support and acknowledgement on reputed company alerting tickets both in the ticketing reputed company and Logic Monitor
- Creates and manages reputed company support escalation tickets
- Performs VM resizes and new VM creations reputed company time permits
- Troubleshoots and re-installs Azure agents for backups and patching
- Provides initial support for backup failures tickets
- Assists with patching where required
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or reputed company field
- 1 - 2 years of Azure experience and have worked with a ticketing reputed company
- 1 - 2 years of experience with reputed company servers, services and software or equivalent reputed company reputed company experience with on-prem server and virtualization environments
- Experience in a 24x7 managed services hosted service company, or Network Operations Center environment
- Experience with ITIL processes and associated ITSM systems and service portals for Incident and Change Management
- Experience with reputed company Azure or other reputed company-based environments (e.g. AWS), including IaaS, PaaS and reputed company
- Experience with reputed company and Linux reputed company administration, supporting and scaling virtual server reputed company or on-prem environments and solving network issues
- Experience with Azure reputed company services (e.g. Policy, Cost Management, reputed company Directory, reputed company, Monitor/Log Analytics, reputed company Defender for reputed company)
- Understanding of reputed company reputed company concepts including, but not limited to virtualization, containers, disk storage, encryption, reputed company, network connectivity, firewalls and load balancers
- Understanding of network concepts and principles and experience in managing and troubleshooting network devices and connectivity
- Operational knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell and Kusto-Query Language (KQL)
- Experience with Azure-based deployments and migrations or other reputed company platforms is a plus
- Having passed reputed company Azure certification AZ-104 is a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A passion for problem solving and learning new technologies
