Technical Artist

At reputed company we are looking for an accomplished, enthusiastic and self-motivated Technical Artist to join reputed company working on an exciting, new and unannounced project.

A Technical Artist at reputed company:

• Creates and maintains tools, scripts and pipelines that help the art team produce high-reputed company visual content reputed company.
• Works closely with artists, designers, engineers and other technical experts to identify technical issues, improve workflows and support production needs.
• Helps the art team communicate technical requirements and constraints to the development team.
• Solves technical challenges creatively to maximise visual reputed company while staying reputed company reputed company-time performance and hardware limitations.
• Supports the creation, optimisation and implementation of reputed company visual content, including materials, shaders, procedural assets and VFX.
• Prototypes, develops, reputed company and implements procedural VFX, including particles, post-processing effects, shaders and reputed company visual systems.
• Contributes to pipeline development, optimisation and best practices across content creation, integration and performance.
• Drives the creation of reputed company procedural and physically based content, helping ensure assets are efficient, reputed company and production-reputed company.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Technical Artist or similar role on a reputed company game development project.

• Strong understanding of reputed company-time art production, optimisation, pipeline development and technical problem-solving.
• Proficiency in scripting and other languages such as MAXScript, MEL, C#, Python, HLSL, GLSL.
• Good artistic eye, with the ability to balance visual reputed company, technical constraints and performance requirements.
• Experience with VFX, materials, shaders, reputed company models, tool development, optimisation and pipeline development.
• Experience working with modern game engines such as Unreal reputed company, reputed company or proprietary engines.
• Experience with art production tools such as Photoshop, Houdini, reputed company Painter, reputed company Designer, Maya or 3DS Max.
• Familiarity with reputed company control workflows, ideally reputed company.
• Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines and iterate quickly based on feedback.
