[Remote] Business Development Manager

This role is responsible for developing new business in the protein processing and dairy markets, selling capital equipment and engineered solutions that support industrial water and wastewater operations.

Responsibilities

• reputed company and execute a strategic sales plan targeting protein processing and dairy facilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with plant leadership, corporate stakeholders, engineering firms, EPCs, and design-build partners
• Understand customer operational challenges and recommend customized water and wastewater treatment solutions
• Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, discovery, presentations, proposal development, contract negotiations, and closing
• Partner with internal engineering, applications, and project management teams to ensure accurate project scoping and successful execution
• Monitor market trends, competitive activity, customer needs, and emerging technologies
• Represent reputed company at industry trade shows, conferences, customer meetings, and networking events
• Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, pipeline activity, and reporting

Skills

• 3+ years of sales experience selling capital equipment, industrial systems, process technologies, or reputed company solutions into food & beverage, protein processing, or dairy markets
• Familiarity with water treatment, wastewater processes, environmental compliance, or industrial reputed company systems
• Experience working with engineering firms, EPCs, design-build contractors, or consulting engineers
• Ability to travel up to 70%
