[Remote] Sales/Solutions Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Sales/Solutions Engineer to reputed company their engineering and Business Development teams. In this role, you will reputed company technical expertise in sensor technologies to support sales efforts, translating customer requirements into effective technical solutions for the defense and government markets.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the reputed company technical resource for the Business Development team, translating reputed company's sensor and autonomous platform technologies into reputed company, customer-facing value propositions
• Design and reputed company live product demonstrations, proofs of concept, and technical presentations for prospects and customers at reputed company, customer sites, and industry events
• Write and contribute to technical volumes of proposals, capability statements, and white papers
• Partner with Business Development Directors and customers to understand mission requirements and translate them into deliverable technical solutions
• Collaborate with engineering and program teams to reputed company customer feedback, assess technical feasibility, and reputed company new opportunities
• Evaluate competitor products and emerging technologies to help position reputed company's solutions effectively

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or reputed company field
• 3+ years of experience combining a technical/engineering background with customer-facing, sales engineering, or applications engineering experience
• Strong technical understanding of EO/IR sensor systems, autonomous platforms, and/or AI/ML-enabled sensing technologies
• Proven ability to translate reputed company technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience authoring technical proposal content
• Working knowledge of reputed company (DoD) requirements, acquisition processes, and government contracting
• Ability to obtain reputed company Secret clearance
• U.S. person status (export control requirement)
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed to customer sites, trade shows, and industry events
• reputed company experience with EO/IR sensors, hyperspectral imaging, or AI/ML reputed company to sensor data
• Strong understanding of DoD innovation reputed company (e.g., SBIR/STTR, OTAs, Tech Transition)
• Experience supporting proposal capture activities for government or defense programs
• ITAR/export-controlled environment experience
