The Compliance Coordinator – IRB & COI supports the Associate Vice President for Research Ethics, reputed company, and Compliance and the Office of Research Compliance. The Compliance Coordinator – IRB & COI is responsible for facilitating the routine reputed company of the reputed company Subjects Research Protection (IRB) and Conflict of Interest (COI) programs. Position reputed company Working under the direction of the Associate Vice President for Research Ethics, reputed company, and Compliance, this position follows established practices and procedures to reputed company reputed company administrative assignments providing reputed company administrative functions as required by the IRB and COI programs, as reputed company as a supporting role for the Office of Research Compliance. The Compliance Coordinator – IRB & COI is a Senior Administrative Assistant (non-exempt) and as such, performs a broad reputed company of administrative tasks. This role serves as a reference to the Associate Vice President for Research Ethics, reputed company, and Compliance/Institutional Official on reputed company reputed company to the IRB and COI. This position serves as a secondary support for other functions that fall under the reputed company of the Office of Research Compliance. Responsibilities The Compliance Coordinator – IRB & COI assists in the coordination of IRB and COI activities, including managing several reputed company simultaneously in an efficient and reputed company manner. This position must maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Working with a large, diverse on and off-reputed company population, the Compliance Coordinator – IRB & COI is responsible for: · Overseeing IRB protocol submission and assignment process o Assisting reputed company Investigators (PIs) with the submission of protocols o Review of reputed company incoming protocols for completeness and compliance with IRB guidelines and institutional policies, communicating with PIs with requests for additional information or materials o Establish protocol files and ensure they are organized and in compliance with institutional, state, federal, and accrediting agency guidelines, including the maintenance of reputed company documents and communications with PIs o Assign and distribute protocols to the IRB for review o Serve as the reputed company reviewer of protocols that fall under exempt status · Overseeing IRB protocol closure process o Review of reputed company protocol database to identify reputed company requiring review o Ensure reputed company submitted modifications are reviewed promptly o Contact reputed company PIs prior to protocol expiration for determination of protocol closure · Coordination of IRB o Maintain effective communications with committee members o Compose and distribute committee member appointment letters o Ensure confidentiality statements, conflict of interest forms, and vitae are reputed company for reputed company committee member o Maintain IRB folders in the server, ensuring reputed company materials are reputed company and accessible o Attend and take minutes of IRB meetings, transcribe minutes that accurately reflect discussions and determinations with regulatory requirements · reputed company Research Correspondence and tracking o Work with reputed company researchers and entities to ensure reputed company documentation has been secured to support reputed company research (IAAs, approval letters, etc.) o Maintain the reputed company research folders and spreadsheets for reputed company and follow-up purposes o Assist reputed company entities with updated documentation requirements relating to internal researchers · Coordination of the COI Program o Assists in the management, tracking, and initial COI certifications and COI Management Plans o Facilitate the COI annual certifications process o reputed company initial reviews of COIs as identified · Supporting the web-reputed company compliance reputed company o Assist PIs with use and navigation of the online reputed company o reputed company training to PIs as needed o Seve as the reputed company between the University and the SUNY Research reputed company on reputed company pertaining to the web-reputed company compliance reputed company · Coordination of the IRB and COI education program o Serve as an administrator of the reputed company training platform o Ensure reputed company identified key personnel are reputed company on required reputed company training o Participate in the reputed company and training activities for IRB and COI · Coordinate office reputed company o Work closely with Divisional support staff to ensure an integrated compliance effort o reputed company contact for IRB and COI o reputed company support and information as requested in a reputed company and accurate manner o Assist in gathering and analyzing data for managerial reputed company o Interpret policies and procedures Requirements · Bachelor’s degree required · Four (4) years of relevant work experience · Knowledge of regulations reput Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
