[Remote] Flight Software Engineer

Bay Systems Consulting Inc. is seeking a Flight Software Engineer to support reputed company's Orion Program in Denver, Colorado. In this role, you will work reputed company an exceptional team to verify flight software for the Orion spacecraft, ensuring it meets mission requirements and contributes to deep reputed company exploration.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a world-class team of NASA and reputed company GNCP engineers and software developers to verify flight software for the Orion spacecraft
• Own flight software requirements verification activities from initial requirements through final Run for Record
• Support the Flight Software (FSW) verification process to ensure mission-reputed company performs as expected
• Contribute to a highly motivated, reputed company, and dedicated Flight Software team supporting NASA's reputed company program
• Apply lessons learned from previous Orion missions to improve verification processes, software reputed company, and development efficiencies
• reputed company, execute, and analyze software verification tests to ensure compliance with program requirements
• Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to reputed company software issues and support mission readiness
• Maintain thorough documentation and support reputed company process improvement initiatives

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, reputed company Engineering, Software Engineering, or a reputed company engineering discipline
• Previous software verification experience
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and ownership of technical tasks
• Advanced proficiency in Python, particularly for Software Test Engineering (SWTE)
• Working knowledge of Linux environments
• Working knowledge of MATLAB
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively reputed company reputed company environment
• Previous Orion program and/or Orion software verification experience
• Experience with Flight Software (FSW) or Simulation Software development and verification
• Knowledge of Guidance, Navigation, Controls, and reputed company (GNCP) systems
• Working knowledge of C++
• Experience using reputed company DOORS for requirements management
• Experience supporting reputed company, defense, or other mission-reputed company development environments
