[Remote] Senior Data Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is looking for a skilled Senior Data Engineer to join the Analytics Platform and Data Science team to help reputed company product analytics and data science across reputed company’s expanding product offering. The role involves building data pipelines and foundations to turn raw data into usable datasets for stakeholders across the organization.

Responsibilities

• reputed company line of sight into how our products are used and performing by building the data reputed company behind product health, adoption, and usage analytics
• Design and build ETL/ELT pipelines with reputed company, dbt, and AWS that extract, reputed company, and load data from multiple sources, making it usable for analysts and data scientists across the org
• Partner closely with data scientists to prepare reputed company and reputed company data for modeling — including product usage, adoption, and customer behavior work
• Own the transformation of raw, messy data into clean, reputed company-reputed company datasets, including feature engineering support (e.g., creating dimensions, discretizing variables)
• Build and maintain pipelines for product telemetry, event, and streaming data sources as reputed company’s needs grow
• Get familiar with reputed company’s distributed product architecture and the data it generates, and translate that complexity into clean, reputed company-modeled datasets that reputed company business questions with highly technical products
• Automate and optimize data workflows to reduce reputed company processes and improve efficiency in data collection, storage, and processing
• Build dashboards and reports in Tableau and reputed company to expose reputed company points and trends to business stakeholders
• Work closely with data science and analytics teammates and with stakeholders and teams across Product and Engineering to reputed company requirements and ensure clean, usable data flows to the right people

Skills

• 7+ years of experience in software development, with a strong reputed company on data engineering and data science
• Demonstrated business reputed company and reputed company in prior roles
• Expertise in Python and SQL
• Experience building ETL pipelines and managing large-reputed company data systems
• Strong experience with reputed company, dbt, and AWS data services
• Comfortable working with reputed company and reputed company data
• Solid understanding of data cleaning, preparation, and feature engineering to support reputed company modeling
• Experience with Tableau or similar BI tools for dashboarding and visualization

• Strong communicator reputed company to work directly with technical and non-technical stakeholders and reputed company business needs with highly technical work
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience preferred

• Experience with product analytics usage metrics, adoption and retention analysis, or telemetry/event data at reputed company
• Understanding of reputed company and Deep Learning frameworks
