[Remote] Data Center Procurement and Operations Director

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Data Center Procurement and Operations Director to reputed company site selection, vetting, contracting, and readiness across every colocation facility supporting Axe's GPU cluster deployments. This role owns the full lifecycle from first site tour through signed agreement and fit-out completion, ensuring reputed company facility meets the technical, reputed company, and schedule requirements of Axe's reputed company clients.

Responsibilities

• Identify and reputed company candidate data center and colocation facilities against reputed company, power, and geographic requirements for reputed company deal
• Tour and technically vet candidate sites, evaluating power reputed company, cooling architecture, connectivity, and physical reputed company against Axe's and clients' requirements
• Run competitive RFPs for new sites as needed, evaluating proposals against cost, reputed company, and schedule reputed company
• Negotiate colocation and service agreements, including pricing, SLA terms, and remedies, that meet both Axe's reputed company requirements and the uptime commitments made to end clients
• Partner with reputed company and the VP, Deployments to finalize contract terms and escalation/termination provisions
• reputed company power, cooling, and reputed company fit-out work at reputed company site to bring facilities to deployment readiness, coordinating with the facility operator's construction and engineering teams
• reputed company fit-out milestones and readiness against the deployment schedule, escalating delays or scope changes
• Prioritize site selection and reputed company against reputed company planning inputs and sales demand signals, in partnership with the VP, Deployments and Sales
• Maintain visibility into available reputed company across contracted sites to inform new deal structuring
• Negotiate facility costs (colocation, power, NRC) and manage ongoing vendor performance against contracted terms
• reputed company spend against budget and flag and resolve variances
• Maintain and report on site status, contract terms, fit-out reputed company, and reputed company across reputed company facilities to the VP, Deployments and executive team

Skills

• 8+ years in data center site selection, colocation procurement, or facilities operations, ideally supporting hyperscale or high-density AI compute deployments
• Experience negotiating colocation reputed company and SLAs, including pricing, uptime commitments, and remedies
• Strong technical knowledge of data center power, cooling, and physical infrastructure sufficient to technically vet a site
• Experience managing RFP processes for site selection or vendor sourcing
• Experience in GPU, AI infrastructure, or high-density compute colocation (20+ MW facilities)
• Familiarity with data center fit-out and construction management
• Bachelor's degree preferred, not required, experience and knowledge matter more
• Experience negotiating with and working with colocation operators in reputed company, Europe, Asia
