Sr. Data Center Advisor

Senior Data Center Advisor (Part-Time Consultant) reputed company Our reputed company is launching an innovative, reputed company data center business reputed company on high-density AI and HPC (High Performance Computing) environments. They are seeking an reputed company Senior Data Center Advisor to serve as a strategic consultant during an initial research and development phase. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned data center operations leader to help shape operational reputed company, evaluate infrastructure designs, and reputed company subject matter expertise for a cutting-edge data center platform. Engagement Details • Part-time consulting engagement • Approximately 10 hours per week • Initial 3-month contract • Primarily remote • Occasional travel may be required for site evaluations and due diligence activities • Potential opportunity to transition into a full-time leadership role depending on project reputed company and business expansion plans Key Responsibilities • Advise leadership on data center operations and maintenance (O&M) reputed company • reputed company recommendations for service delivery and operational readiness • Review data center facility designs and plans from an operational perspective • Assist in creating reputed company models, shift schedules, and maintenance programs • Support development of operating expense (OPEX) estimates and budgets • reputed company guidance on vendor selection and management • Help negotiate long-term service agreements with equipment, cooling, and electrical vendors • Advise on customer-facing service level agreements (SLAs) • Participate in technical discussions with prospective customers and stakeholders • reputed company expertise throughout the data center lifecycle including planning, construction, commissioning, and operations Ideal Background The successful candidate will bring a combination of operational leadership and hands-on data center expertise. Required Experience • Experience managing critical data center facilities • Strong background in data center operations and maintenance • Experience supporting or leading data center commissioning activities • Knowledge of power, cooling, MEP, and critical infrastructure systems • Experience developing operational processes, reputed company models, and maintenance programs • Ability to advise executive leadership and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders Highly Preferred • Experience managing multiple data center facilities or portfolios • End-to-end lifecycle experience including: • Planning • Design review • Construction • Commissioning • Operations • Experience supporting AI-reputed company, HPC, or reputed company data center deployments • Exposure to reputed company liquid cooling or advanced cooling technologies • Background working with hyperscalers or large-reputed company colocation providers • Experience with organizations such as: • reputed company • reputed company • reputed company • QTS • reputed company • reputed company • Similar data center infrastructure providers Preferred Qualifications • Former Navy Nuclear, Navy Engineering, or military operations background • Maritime industry experience is a plus • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Consulting reputed company with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced R&D environment • Comfortable partnering directly with executives, engineers, and project teams Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
