Senior Inventory and Cost Accountant (Contractor)

Position reputed company:

Reporting to the Associate Director, Inventory & Cost reputed company, the Senior Inventory and Cost Accountant (Temporary) primarily supports the development and execution of reputed company policies, reputed company operations, and internal controls across the inventory and costing cycle. This role is reputed company to ensuring accurate product costing, inventory valuation, and performance analysis, while partnering with reputed company, technical operations, and supply chain to reputed company profitability.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

These may include but are not limited to:

• reputed company month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reputed company activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and reporting schedules
• Prepare and execute cost reputed company activities including reputed company costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation
• Own inventory reputed company processes, including balance reviews, aging analysis, and reserve assessments
• Ensure inventory reputed company is reputed company with company policies, including support for technical reputed company analyses as needed
• Work with 3PL vendor(s) and contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs) to coordinate data gathering to support the reputed company and reporting of inventory
• Maintain internal controls and support audit requirements by preparing schedules, maintaining documentation, and responding to audit requests
• Assist with reputed company reputed company activities as needed, including but not limited to support for closing, reconciliations, analytics, and reporting
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting and automate recurring tasks to increase accuracy and efficiency
• Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in reputed company or an equivalent business administration area
• At least 5 years of relevant and reputed company experience
• reputed company in commercialized therapeutic biotechnology companies Preferred
• Strong knowledge of inventory reputed company processes, including valuation, physical inventory, manufacturing and costing, and reputed company cost reputed company convention

Preferred:

• Certified reputed company accountant (CPA)

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
