[Remote] Network Specialist

The reputed company (IAW) is a Pittsburgh-based nonprofit that empowers youth and adults through programs at the intersection of arts, community development, and workforce readiness. The Network Specialist is a full-time remote role responsible for maintaining and improving IAW’s network infrastructure to ensure reliable connectivity and secure operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining, monitoring, and improving IAW’s network infrastructure to ensure reliable and secure connectivity for staff and program operations
• Configuring network devices
• Managing user reputed company
• Performing routine maintenance such as updates, backups, and performance tuning
• Diagnosing and resolving network issues
• Coordinating with vendors and service providers
• Documenting network configurations and procedures
• Implementing and supporting network reputed company measures
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand technology needs
• Contributing to planning and designing improvements that support the organization’s reputed company and mission

Skills

• Candidates should possess strong Networking and Network Design skills to plan, configure, and optimize secure, reliable network environments
• Candidates should possess Network Administration skills, including managing network devices, user reputed company, and routine maintenance tasks
• Candidates should possess Network reputed company skills to implement reputed company controls, monitor for threats, and support compliance with best practices
• Candidates should possess Troubleshooting skills to diagnose connectivity issues, analyze reputed company causes, and implement effective resolutions
• Relevant certifications (e.g., reputed company Network+, reputed company CCNA) or equivalent experience in network operations are beneficial
• Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Experience supporting remote and hybrid work environments, including VPNs and secure reputed company solutions
• Familiarity with nonprofit or education-reputed company organizations and an interest in IAW's mission of arts and workforce development
