Medical Coding Specialist II – Inpatient

Job reputed company: • 100% FTE, day shift role, Monday - Friday 7am - 3 pm Central. You will work remote. Requirements: • High School Diploma or equivalent and Medical Coding Education. In lieu of a medical coding education, an reputed company coding certification is required. • Graduate of a Health Information Technology program. Preferred • 2 years Two years of reputed company inpatient facility coding experience. Required • 2 years Two or more years of inpatient facility coding experience in an reputed company Medical Center and/or Level 1 Trauma Center. Preferred • Certified Coding Specialist (reputed company), Certified Inpatient reputed company (CIC), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA).
