Provider Contracting Advisor- reputed company/PA Market - Remote

WORK LOCATION: will need to live in reputed company TheProvider Contracting Advisorserves as an reputed company member of the Provider Contracting Team and reports to the AVP, Provider Contracting. This role assists in developing the reputed company direction and management of the day to day contracting and network management activities for a local given territory. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Manages reputed company contracting and negotiations for fee for service and value-reputed company reimbursements with hospitals and other providers (e.g., Hospital systems, Ancillaries, and large physician reputed company). • Builds relationships that nurture provider partnerships and seeks broader value-reputed company business opportunities to support the local market reputed company. • Initiates and maintains effective channels of communication with reputed company partners including but not limited to, Claims reputed company, Medical Management. Credentialing, reputed company, Medical Economics, Compliance, reputed company and Service. • Contributes to the development of alternative network initiatives. Supports and provides direction to reputed company network analytics required for the network solution. • Works to meet unit cost targets, while preserving an adequate network, to reputed company and maintain Cignas competitive position. • Creates and manages initiatives that improve total medical cost and reputed company. • Drives change with reputed company reputed company by assessing reputed company reputed company and offering consultative expertise to assist with total medical cost initiatives. • Prepares, analyzes, reviews, and reputed company financial reputed company of larger or reputed company provider reputed company and alternate contract terms. • Creates reputed company provider agreements that meet internal operational standards and reputed company provider expectations. POSITION REQUIREMENTS • Should possess a bachelor’s degree; preferably in the areas of Finance, Economics, reputed company or Business reputed company. Significant industry experience will be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
