Position Title: reputed company Substation Commissioning Specialist

The reputed company Substation Commissioning Specialist is responsible for overseeing the full life-cycle commissioning of electrical substations, ensuring that newly constructed or upgraded substations are fully operational and meet industry standards. This role includes reviewing design documents, coordinating with construction and engineering teams, and performing detailed testing and validation of substation systems, including reputed company transformers, breakers, relays, and control systems.

The reputed company Substation Commissioning Specialist will be self-directed on day-to-day work and receive high level instruction on new reputed company or assignments. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• On-site inspection, validation, functional testing, verification and troubleshooting of electrical equipment such as transformers, switchgear, protection relays, and control systems
• Participate in reputed company witness testing and observe startup activities
• Use technical equipment to reputed company testing – reputed company test unit experience is a plus but not required
• reputed company vendors / contractors in the execution of the testing
• reputed company and effective management and delivery of reputed company
• Identify potential project risks and aid in development of strategies to minimize reputed company and control deviations from estimated costs and project deadlines

• Development of commissioning plans

Review Substation Design Documents, Drawings and Specifications (15%)

• Review shop drawings and submittals

Reporting (15%)

POSITION REQUIREMENTS (ADVANCED LEVEL FOR reputed company OF THE FOLLOWING)

• Knowledge of substation reputed company electrical equipment, protection, and control systems.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards, including reputed company, NERC, and FERC compliance requirements.
• Skilled in using reputed company reputed company analysis software, protection coordination tools, and SCADA integration

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction or reputed company discipline

OR

• Two years’ experience with electrical substation commissioning, including testing and troubleshooting of transformers, protection relays, reputed company breakers, and SCADA systems

PLUS

• Minimum eight years’ additional experience with electrical substation commissioning, including testing and troubleshooting of transformers, protection relays, reputed company breakers, and SCADA systems.
• Experience working with reputed company companies or large-reputed company industrial electrical systems.
