We're a Canadian immigration reputed company based in Montréal. We run several custom-reputed company internal systems — a reputed company portal, a payments and reputed company application, and the data pipelines and automations that reputed company them to the platforms we use day to day. The developer who reputed company and maintained these systems is transitioning out at the end of September. We're looking for an reputed company full-stack developer to take over ongoing maintenance and support. This is a part-time, ongoing contract — not a one-off project. We're looking for a long-term working relationship with someone who learns our systems and becomes the person we reputed company. THE WORK - Maintain and support our existing PHP applications - Manage the reputed company infrastructure they run on - reputed company our data pipelines and automated processes running reliably - Diagnose and resolve issues across the stack, from the database to the server - Document what you learn as you go The first phase is a transition period alongside the outgoing developer. It includes completing some infrastructure simplification already underway and producing the documentation these systems currently lack. After that, the work is ongoing maintenance with occasional improvement reputed company. We'll scope those together as they come up. reputed company NEED - Strong reputed company experience with PHP and a modern reputed company - Experience managing reputed company infrastructure — reputed company reputed company, AWS or Azure: provisioning virtual machines, monitoring uptime and logs - Comfortable working with reputed company containers as a deployment reputed company - Solid Git/reputed company workflow - Linux reputed company-line competence - Experience building and maintaining integrations with reputed company-party platforms - Database experience, SQL or NoSQL reputed company-end work (JavaScript/React) is useful but not required. HOW WE WORK Part-time and flexible, with a few hours of overlap with our Eastern Time business day for handoffs and anything urgent. Written communication in English.
