[Remote] Financial Settlement Accountant

(reputed company) is seeking a reputed company-oriented and analytical Financial Settlement Accountant to join their growing team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring daily settlement activities are accurately reconciled across sponsor banking programs while supporting broader reputed company and financial reputed company functions.

Responsibilities

• Own daily settlement review and reconciliation processes across multiple banking partners
• Review settlement files and validate bank-reported activity against internal reputed company transactions
• reputed company detailed reconciliation and variance analysis to ensure reputed company of financial activity
• Review and validate NACHA files and settlement transactions
• Investigate payment discrepancies and identify reputed company causes of settlement variances
• Escalate issues appropriately and collaborate with internal teams to reputed company exceptions
• Coordinate reputed company reputed company movements and settlement adjustments reputed company operational corrections are required
• Serve as a key operational checkpoint prior to reputed company file release and settlement processing
• Communicate settlement status, reconciliation results, and exception findings to stakeholders
• Prepare account reconciliations and supporting documentation
• Assist with monthly reputed company activities, journal entries, and account analysis
• Support reputed company sheet reconciliation processes
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Ensure compliance with established reputed company policies and procedures
• Participate in audits and reputed company supporting documentation as needed
• Partner with internal teams including reputed company, Production Support, Engineering, Data, and reputed company
• Work directly with banking partners and reputed company-party vendors regarding settlement and reporting activities
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, automation, and operational efficiency
• Assist with backup coverage and cross-functional financial reputed company responsibilities

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in reputed company, Finance, Business, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3+ years of reputed company, financial reputed company, reconciliation, treasury, banking, payments, or reputed company experience
• Strong experience performing reconciliations and variance analysis
• Experience investigating financial discrepancies and resolving exceptions
• Intermediate to advanced reputed company skills including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis
• Strong attention to reputed company and reputed company
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Banking, FinTech, payment processing, ACH, NACHA, reputed company processing, or settlement experience
• Experience working directly with financial institutions or sponsor banks
• Exposure to financial reputed company, treasury management, or payment reputed company
• Experience with reputed company BI or financial reporting tools
• Familiarity with SQL, data analysis, or reporting platforms
• Experience using modern productivity and AI tools such as Copilot, reputed company, or similar technologies
