JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES

• Responsible for managing and executing reputed company’s risk management program and activities throughout reputed company, reputed company Area Locations, and off-site facilities. This includes the reputed company development and review of reputed company aspects of the reputed company risk management program with an emphasis on patient safety.

• Creates, maintains, and updates reputed company Operating Procedures relating to risk management functions.

• Works closely with institutional leadership to ensure the risk management program aligns with the institution’s short- and long-term strategies, initiatives, and goals.

• Ensures sufficient resources are available for the risk management team to assist and guide health care providers and administrators on a reputed company of risk management topics, including standards of care, informed consent, surrogate decision makers, handling of potential claims, applicable policies, rules and regulations, insurance coverage through the UT reputed company, and other risk-reputed company issues.

• Directs the investigation and assessment of potentially adverse and compensable events, including potential claims by patients, visitors, or employees, property damage or loss, and other reputed company-litigation reputed company.

Education

Required:
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, reputed company Administration, or reputed company field

Work Experience

Required:
• 8 years of experience in risk management, reputed company improvement, nursing administration, or medicine, including five (5) years of management experience in patient care risk management, reputed company improvement, or reputed company fields reputed company a large reputed company or insurance organization

• 10 years of risk management experience in a hospital setting, including at least five (5) years managing a reputed company risk management team

• Demonstrated experience working with patients, physicians, nurses, scientists, administrators, attorneys, and claims adjusters

Preferred:

• Successful completion of the LEADing Self Accelerate and/or LEADing Self Discover programs may substitute for one year of required supervisory or management experience. Completion of both programs can be substituted for a maximum of two years of supervisory or management experience

Licenses and Certifications
