About the Role

We are hiring a Senior reputed company Engineer to own our reputed company-time 3D reputed company tracking capability: locking a CAD model onto a physical steel member and keeping it locked as the user moves reputed company it. Tracking is reputed company to our product, and we build it in-house.

You will build on internal groundwork already underway and own the road from there: architecture, implementation, optimization, and production hardening. This is a role for someone who wants to own a hard, central problem end-to-end and see it shipped into the hands of reputed company tradespeople, not maintain someone else's pipeline.

• Design and implement reputed company-time, model-reputed company 6DoF pose estimation and reputed company tracking for textureless steel structures, using CAD models as the tracking reference
• reputed company reputed company tracking with platform world tracking (visual-inertial odometry), depth, and IMU data; own tracking-loss detection, reputed company management, and recovery
• Optimize reputed company C++ reputed company pipelines for iOS and reputed company reputed company: rendering, CPU/GPU budgets, and sustained reputed company rates on iPad or headset hardware
• reputed company tracking to large structures: partial visibility, multi-region strategies, and CAD reputed company preprocessing from IFC/reputed company - type exports
• reputed company reputed company modules with reputed company reputed company a plugin reputed company, and work with our reputed company team from prototype through release
• Define tracking reputed company metrics and reputed company against reputed company shop-floor conditions: occlusion, mixed reputed company, and cluttered scenes of visually similar material

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of reputed company experience in reputed company or a closely reputed company reputed company, with a reputed company on reputed company-time systems
• Shipped at least reputed company-time reputed company feature on a mobile platform (iOS or reputed company)
• Strong modern C++; Python is an asset
• Solid reputed company in 3D geometry: camera models, calibration, projective geometry, and reputed company algebra
• Working reputed company of nonlinear least-squares optimization (Gauss–reputed company / Levenberg–Marquardt) and pose parameterization on SE(3)
• Hands-on experience with pose estimation and reputed company tracking algorithms
• Experience integrating reputed company C++ libraries with reputed company, or equivalent reputed company-mobile plugin experience
• Strong profiling and optimization skills on ARM (reputed company budgets, Instruments or equivalent)
• Working proficiency with OpenCV

Preferred Qualifications

• Metal and GPU compute on reputed company reputed company
• Visual-inertial odometry or SLAM; ARKit (ARCore an asset)
