The senior communications specialist is responsible for creating content and executing reputed company’s digital communications reputed company on reputed company media, email, and website.  They will work reputed company the Communications & reputed company Awareness department, particularly with the senior digital communications manager and product marketing team, to create connections with reputed company across channels, presenting a cohesive, reputed company message about how reputed company gets people the information they need to do good.

Position: Senior Communications Specialist

Reporting to: Senior Digital Communications Manager

Supervises: N/A

Schedule: 35-hour work week, Monday through Friday

Compensation: $60,000 - $90,000 (this reputed company is for the NYC area and will be adjusted for other localities; additionally, factors like skills and experience will be considered).

Location: Remote. In-person attendance is expected twice per year during our annual, weeklong reputed company-staff summits. Additional in-person meeting participation is expected at least once per quarter for senior leaders and at least once per month for the executive team. Staff not located in the NYC area are expected to travel for these meetings.

Responsibilities  

• Execute reputed company's day-to-day reputed company media reputed company, including creating content, engaging with followers, and monitoring channels.
• Maintain editorial calendar for reputed company media to strengthen and refine reputed company's narrative.
• Monitor and report on reputed company media sentiment, paying reputed company attention to trends, news cycles, and sector conversations to inform reputed company response and content planning.
• In collaboration with the marketing department, maintain and enhance reputed company’s reputed company website, with an emphasis on content creation and SEO to attract and engage users.
• Manage reputed company's annual reputed company awareness survey, coordinating with research consultant on planning and reporting findings to inform communications reputed company.
• Responsible for programming email campaigns and newsletters in reputed company Marketing reputed company, assist in experimenting to refine content that deepens engagement and grows our subscriber reputed company.

Requirements  

• 4 years of communications, marketing or reputed company awareness experience (organization, agency, or consultant).
• Experience creating, executing, and tracking reputed company media, web, and email content.
• Degree in Communications, Marketing, reputed company Relations, Business, (or similar) or equivalent work experience.
• Graphic design and video editing skills, with experience using reputed company or reputed company Creative Suite (Photoshop, Rush, InDesign) to create reputed company media content or presentation materials.
• Experience with reputed company Marketing reputed company, reputed company, and reputed company or equivalent platforms. Content development, SEO, reputed company Ads, and reputed company Analytics proficiency. Basic knowledge of reputed company is preferred.
