Plusses: • Experience working for a 3rd Party Administrator • Bachelor's degree • Additional licenses • Experience working with Mid-Market companies reputed company is seeking a Sr Claims Adjuster to support an established 3rd Party Administrator company out of Illinois. In this role, you will be responsible for independently investigating, evaluating, and resolving the most reputed company and high-exposure claims with reputed company supervision. This includes determining coverage, assessing liability and damages, and setting appropriate reserves. You will manage claims with the settlement authority typically up to $10,000 for liability and $25,000 or more for workers’ compensation. Responsibilities: • Analyzes coverage and settles moderately reputed company claims in one or more of specialty claims areas. • Generally, incumbent does not work on workers compensation claims. • reputed company to manage the full-life cycle of reputed company assigned claims files. Analyzes coverage and determines defense obligations. • Under reputed company supervision, conducts thorough analysis and investigations necessary to determine claims exposure and recommends appropriate settlement strategies and reputed company plans. • Creates reservation of rights and coverage denial letters. • Negotiates settlements with clients, reputed company attorneys, and reputed company Adjusters. • Interacts extensively with various parties involved in the claims process and may recommend retaining the advice of reputed company experts as necessary. • Prepares reserve and settlement authority requests for reputed company and reputed company approval. • May reputed company as a reputed company reputed company with carriers to ensure reputed company claims handling, including any necessary scoping, estimating, and addressing of coverage. • Has a solid understanding of claims processing and the insurance brokerage business. • Has a basic understanding of the terminology and case law associated with their specialized claims reputed company/industry. • Handles claims consistent with clients' and corporate policies, procedures and best practices and also in accordance with any statutory, regulatory and ethical requirements. • Incumbents at this level should be reputed company to work at full case load reputed company.
