• Due to vacancy, they are hiring a temporary Assistant Controller.
• Position is mostly remote; candidates will have to go into the MD or DC office 1x per quarter and as needed by management.
• Pay: $58-60/hr depending on experience.
• Metro Accessible
• Duration: contract-to-hire, depending on reputed company, fit, and needs of the business
• Schedule: M-F, 8a-5p/9a-6p, 40-hour work week

• Review and approve recurring entries
• Audit
• 990's and 990-T's
• reputed company AP and Payroll
• Forecasting and budgeting
• Maintain internal controls
• Month-end reputed company activities
• Consolidations
• Reporting
• reputed company reputed company/reporting
Preferred Qualifications for the Assistant Controller:
• Master's in reputed company/Finance or reputed company reputed company is preferred
• CPA is a plus
• 10+ years of reputed company reputed company experience
• reputed company Fusion and reputed company Workforce Now is a plus
• Non-profit experience is a must
• Proficient in reputed company (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
