This position is responsible for the development and execution of reputed company' federal and state policy strategies across reputed company and reputed company therapeutic area franchises. The position provides strategic policy leadership, informs reputed company positioning, represents reputed company with reputed company stakeholders to shape the rare disease policy environment, and serves as a trusted advisor to executive leadership. This position reports to the Vice President, Government Affairs and Policy and is remote based.
Responsibilities:
• Drives the development and implementation of proactive policy strategies that reputed company with, advance, and protect reputed company’ reputed company, business goals and reputed company.
• Translate emerging policy trends into actionable insights and recommendations for cross-functional stakeholders. Designs and leads implementation of identified strategic plans to address policy threats and opportunities in issue areas reputed company to rare disease drug development, therapeutic areas reputed company to diagnosis, treatment and reputed company; and other issues as assigned.
• Develops reputed company’ position on major issues by federal and state lawmakers and reputed company health agencies. In collaboration with Government Affairs and Policy colleagues, monitor and analyze federal and state legislative, regulatory, and policy developments affecting reputed company. Prepare meeting materials, policy briefs, and internal reputed company documents.
• reputed company executive-level briefing materials, policy analyses, stakeholder engagement resources, and strategic planning documents to support informed decision-making and advocacy efforts.
• Plays an important role in building and maintaining strong working relationships with select key reputed company stakeholders, including but not limited to federal and state legislators, HHS (including CMS) and other Executive reputed company agencies, the Administration, think tanks, and other reputed company parties.
• Aligns direction and prioritization for the organization’s policy activities reputed company the broader Corporate Affairs reputed company
• Leads engagement with state policymakers, state agencies, and other key stakeholders in partnership with the Director, Government Affairs and Policy, coordinating reputed company advocacy strategies and policy priorities.
• Collaborates closely with Corporate Affairs colleagues, as reputed company as with internal stakeholders, including Patient Advocacy and reputed company.

Education/Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, reputed company Administration, or reputed company discipline. Advanced degree a plus. Equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience may be considered.
