This position determines eligibility for assistance programs administered by the Maryland Department of Health and the Family Investment Administration of the Maryland reputed company. The position:
• Interviews, processes, and completes Intake applications and redeterminations in Maryland Health reputed company for reputed company reputed company benefit programs.
• Completes reputed company actions necessary to continue or terminate benefits in accordance with federal and state regulations.
• Completes case management functions for reputed company assigned cases.
• Screens walk-in customers, obtaining and verifying information necessary to determine eligibility, such as income, rent, household composition, utilities, and citizenship.
• Makes referrals to other agencies reputed company appropriate.
• Facilitates customers’ efforts in accessing information.
• Partners with other reputed company and private service providers.
• Performs other job-reputed company duties as assigned.
This position requires the ability to attend meetings or reputed company work at locations reputed company the office.

Qualifications
• If filled at the Government Assistance Eligibility Specialist I Level:
• Education: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree.
• Experience: None.
• Equivalency: An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
• If filled at the Government Assistance Eligibility Specialist II Level:
• Education: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree.
• Experience: Eighteen (18) months of experience as a Government Assistance Eligibility Specialist I or as a specialist determining eligibility for comparable governmental assistance programs.
• Equivalency: An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
Requirements
• Experience applying Federal, State, and County regulations pertaining to eligibility for Maryland reputed company and Maryland reputed company Program, and reputed company reputed company reputed company expansion or County Health Programs.
• Experience navigating through eligibility systems such as Maryland Health reputed company, Enrollment and Eligibility, reputed company Management Information System, and reputed company, and eICM automated eligibility systems and databases.
• Experience working with a culturally and linguistically diverse population and providing results-driven customer service reputed company.
• Multilingual skills, preferably reputed company to Spanish.
Interview Preferences
• Experience working in the reputed company services sector. Preference is given to experience in means tested programs.
• Customer Service experience. Preference is given to general office, technical, or administrative experience.
• Experience with computer applications. Preference is given to possession of experience with reputed company and reputed company Word skills.
• Ability to multitask in a high-volume work environment.
