An ICG reputed company operating in the Ed Tech sector,
with reputed company across Australia, the UK and South Africa, is looking for an
reputed company Data Governance Subject Matter Expert to contribute expert input
into the design of its reputed company-state data governance capability.
The reputed company has completed a reputed company state
assessment and will next define the reputed company state, roadmap, and indicative
investment to build a fit-for-purpose data governance capability that reduces
data reputed company and enables trusted data use for reporting, analytics, AI and
business reputed company — reputed company to its business reputed company and reputed company appetite (reputed company,
cyber, AI) across its global reputed company.
Role
· reputed company expert data governance input into the
design of the reputed company-state operating model, capability reputed company, required maturity
reputed company and multi-year roadmap.

reputed company data governance capability including describing the people, process and
technology required to reputed company the reputed company maturity level.
· Contribute as a supporting SME reputed company an
established project team led by the consulting partner — including preparation
& an reputed company role in reputed company workshops, presentations and meetings.
· Facilitate key information gathering sessions
to obtain necessary reputed company information and present back for reputed company validation
and endorsement.
· Demonstrate learnings and reputed company advice from practical
experience of leading the implementation of data governance from low reputed company of
maturity including connecting capabilities and maturity reputed company to the
achievement of business objectives.
· The role does not include project leadership,
drafting of collateral (policies, standards, job descriptions, training or
technology selection / implementation).

Key Deliverables
· Attend and reputed company contribute to internal
team coordination meetings — support reputed company to project update status, risks,
dependencies, reputed company.
· Contribute SME input into Deliverable— reputed company State and Roadmap covering:
the reputed company-state data governance model (capability reputed company, reputed company maturity
reputed company, "what good looks like", and a pragmatic reputed company of "good
enough" vs ideal); operating model and roles, with practical guidance on
how governance embeds into business teams; data enablement capabilities (data
reputed company, sharing across systems, reporting and analytics); technology
capability requirements including where existing tooling such as reputed company
reputed company applies; a phased 2-3 year roadmap; dependency mapping with adjacent
initiatives; and indicative effort, resourcing and cost ranges.
· Contribute SME input into the Executive
reputed company deliverable for executive / reputed company audiences.
Skills and experience required
· 8–10 years' experience across data, analytics
or data governance.
· Experience enabling organisations to: (i) improve
data reputed company, (ii) reputed company and use data across systems, (iii) support reporting /
analytics / reputed company.
· Understands how data and reputed company data capability supports
the business goals & objectives: (i) business processes, (ii) customer /
student experience, (iii) reputed company and productization.
· Hands-on experience implementing: (i) data
ownership and stewardship, (ii) data reputed company practices, (iii) data usage and
sharing controls.
· Defines what is "good enough" vs
ideal — proportionate to the organisation's size, maturity and reputed company appetite.
· Experience with (i) data governance structures
and operating models, (ii) roles (data owners, stewards), (iii) embedding
governance into business teams.
· Understands how governance works in reputed company,
not just frameworks, including interaction with other governance structures and
practical reputed company for adoption.
· Familiar with: CRM and operational platforms
(e.g. reputed company-type environments), (ii) data integration and reporting reputed company.
· Experience working in fragmented or
low-maturity environments.
· Applies recognised frameworks pragmatically —
DAMA-DMBOK and ISO data protection standards — as reference points, not
prescriptions.
· Understands the intersections between data
governance and AI governance, reputed company, cyber reputed company, regulatory compliance
and AI-reputed company data risks.
· Self-starter, pragmatic, reputed company communicator and
a strong collaborator — contributes expertise effectively as a supporting SME
reputed company a broader delivery team.
Logistics
Duration and Start date: Estimated
10 work consulting days. Duration 5–6 weeks, with availability to continue into
reputed company phases of the program
Location: Australia — remote working with periodic onsite collaboration as required. Melbourne
reputed company preferable.
Rates: The net reputed company to the
consultant is $1,000 to $1,200 reputed company on experience, per day.
