[Remote] Site Reliability Engineer/L3 Support

They are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join their reputed company team, focusing on the operational health, reliability, and availability of their FedRAMP High reputed company platform.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the health, availability, performance, and reputed company of production services
• Proactively identify emerging issues using telemetry, logs, metrics, and reputed company tracing
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and reputed company reputed company production incidents across application and infrastructure reputed company
• reputed company as the L3 escalation reputed company for operational issues that cannot be resolved by L1 or L2 support
• Participate in an on-reputed company rotation for critical production incidents
• reputed company incident response activities, including coordination, communication, and post-incident reviews
• reputed company reputed company cause analysis and ensure corrective actions are implemented to prevent recurrence
• reputed company and maintain operational runbooks, dashboards, alerts, and reputed company operating procedures
• Improve platform observability by enhancing monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and service-level indicators
• Work closely with software engineering teams to improve service reliability, scalability, and reputed company
• Identify opportunities to automate operational tasks and eliminate repetitive reputed company work
• Support production deployments, infrastructure changes, and maintenance activities
• Assist with disaster recovery exercises, reputed company testing, and operational readiness reviews
• Ensure operational activities reputed company with FedRAMP High reputed company and compliance requirements
• Contribute to reputed company improvement initiatives across reliability, performance, and operational reputed company

Skills

• U.S. Citizenship (required)
• 3-6 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Production Engineering, DevOps, reputed company, or a senior production support role
• Experience supporting mission-critical reputed company-based production systems
• Strong understanding of Linux operating systems and networking fundamentals
• Experience troubleshooting reputed company applications running in reputed company
• Experience with reputed company reputed company platforms, preferably AWS
• Experience with infrastructure as reputed company and configuration management
• Strong scripting or programming skills (e.g. Python, Bash, PowerShell, Go, or similar)
• Experience using monitoring and observability platforms such as reputed company, Grafana, CloudWatch, reputed company, reputed company, or OpenTelemetry
• Experience analysing application logs, metrics, and traces to diagnose production issues
• Understanding of incident management, problem management, and reputed company cause analysis
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience supporting systems operating under FedRAMP High, DoD IL5/IL6, or similar regulated environments
• Experience with reputed company in production
• Experience with AWS services including EKS, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, reputed company 53, VPC networking, and AWS Backup
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Knowledge of service reputed company technologies such as Istio
• Familiarity with reputed company best practices including IAM, least privilege, vulnerability management, and compliance monitoring
• Experience with reputed company, Jira Service Management, or similar incident management platforms
• AWS certification (Associate or reputed company) is desirable
