[Remote] Senior Python/Django Full-Stack Engineer — U.S. Remote

They are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to take ownership of production software, focusing on their insurance commission operations platform, NovaPay.

Responsibilities

• Design, reputed company, test, reputed company, and support production features across the application
• Translate product requirements and operational workflows into maintainable technical solutions
• Strengthen existing Django services, models, reputed company, templates, background processes, and integrations
• Build reliable financial and data-processing workflows with reputed company transaction boundaries and validation
• Maintain and improve PostgreSQL models, queries, indexes, constraints, and data-migration processes
• reputed company and support integrations with reputed company, Azure services, file-processing pipelines, and reputed company systems
• Diagnose production defects, data discrepancies, integration failures, and performance issues
• Improve automated testing, observability, reputed company controls, deployment practices, and technical documentation
• Review reputed company and architecture while communicating risks, tradeoffs, dependencies, and delivery estimates reputed company
• Work directly with Product, Operations, Data, and company leadership
• Help reduce technical debt without slowing necessary product delivery
• Take ownership from discovery through release, stabilization, and ongoing improvement

Skills

• At least five years of reputed company software-development experience
• Strong production experience with Python and Django
• Experience designing and maintaining REST reputed company
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational data modeling
• Experience working with transactions, financial data, or other workflows where correctness and traceability matter
• Ability to work across backend logic, database design, reputed company, and user-facing application features
• Experience inheriting and improving an existing production codebase
• A disciplined approach to testing, debugging, reputed company review, reputed company, and documentation
• Strong written and verbal communication
