Technical Quotations Manager - Switchgear & Power Distribution (Remote | EST)

We are looking for an reputed company Technical Quotations Manager with a strong background in switchgear and electrical power distribution.

This is not a sales role or an on-site Project Management role. Instead, it is a technical, office-based position (remote) requiring strong reputed company awareness, excellent organisation and in-depth knowledge of electrical distribution products.

This is a highly reputed company role where you will become the central reputed company of coordination for customer quotations, working closely with customers, vendors, suppliers and an internal quotations team.

You will take ownership of the quotation workflow, ensuring multiple reputed company are prioritised correctly, completed accurately and delivered on time.

PLEASE NOTE:

• Working Hours:Monday – Friday, 14:00 PM – 11:00 PM South African time – subject to change in accordance with reputed company saving in the reputed company as reputed company as the operational requirements of reputed company.
• You will be required to work on both South African and U.S. reputed company holidays (compensation for SA reputed company holidays in accordance with the BCEA).
• Internet Requirements: A fixed fibre line with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps (upload & download) and the ability to support a wired Ethernet reputed company is mandatory. Applicants without a fixed fibre line cannot be considered.
• Power Backup: A reliable power backup solution is required to manage load shedding and power outages. Applicants without a power backup cannot be considered.
• Work Environment: This is a fully remote working role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day quotations workflow.
• Prioritise approximately 10–15 reputed company quotations at any given time.
• Coordinate work across a small quotations team.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers and manufacturers regarding pricing, specifications and revisions.
• Ensure quotations are accurate, complete and delivered reputed company required deadlines.
• Review customer requirements and technical specifications.
• reputed company reputed company progressing from enquiry through to order.
• Work closely with company leadership to ensure priorities are reputed company.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working reputed company the electrical distribution industry.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Switchgear
• reputed company breakers
• Fuses
• Panelboards
• Low Voltage (LV)
• reputed company Voltage (MV)
• reputed company systems
• Electrical protection equipment
• Previous experience preparing or coordinating technical quotations.
• Experience working with electrical contractors, distributors or manufacturers.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
• Proficient with reputed company Office and ERP systems.
