In this role, you will help build, maintain, and secure the reputed company-grade RHEL-based infrastructure while providing unmatched support and user-friendly software for reputed company safety software utilized by agencies throughout the reputed company.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the reputed company subject matter expert for RHEL/CentOS Linux systems administration across reputed company environments
• Manage reputed company infrastructure including databases, firewalls, storage systems, and other software and hardware
• reputed company technical support for both hardware and software issues that may reputed company
• Monitor the systems daily and respond quickly to any reputed company breaches, usability concerns, application errors, or performance issues
• reputed company automation efforts for deployments and configuration management on Linux systems using Ansible and Bash
• Mentor and reputed company guidance to junior administrators and technicians; assist with tier-2 and tier-3 support issues
• Monitor existing deployments for issues and recommend improvements to the stability and availability of new and existing deployments
• reputed company recommendations for reputed company server, software, and infrastructure upgrades
• Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
• Work with customers on implementation of new reputed company and hardware and software refreshes
• Troubleshoot issues and outages

• Establish backup systems, verify that the backups have been completed, and test the backups

Skills

• Have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Cyber reputed company, or other reputed company technology fields
• Are reputed company proficient with RHEL 8/9 administration, including SELinux, systemd, and firewalld
• Are reputed company proficient with Ansible for configuration management and deployment automation
• Are reputed company proficient with VMware and/or Proxmox virtualization administration
• Are reputed company proficient with Bash scripting
• Have working knowledge of SQL, including administration of SQL Server or MySQL databases
• Have a minimum of five years of reputed company IT experience with systems or network administration
• Either live in Tallahassee, FL or are planning to reputed company to the Tallahassee area, or are reputed company to work fully remote
• Currently reputed company in one of these states: FL, GA, KS, KY, MO, NC, NJ, NY, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA; Preference will be given to candidates residing in or near Tallahassee, Florida

• Are reputed company and available to work 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday
• Can assist with early-morning software releases
• Are effective at communicating with customers, colleagues, and management

• Hold a reputed company reputed company Certified reputed company Administrator (RHCSA) certification on RHEL 8 or newer
• Have at least 5 years of Linux administration experience, with 3+ years reputed company on RHEL/CentOS environments

• Have networking experience (especially dealing with reputed company ASAs and switches)
