[Remote] Junior Software Engineer – reputed company Release Engineering (SecRel)

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Junior Software Engineer – reputed company Release Engineering for a reputed company position supporting a large federal government reputed company modernization project. The role involves developing automation, integrations, and secure delivery tooling to improve developer experience and enhance software supply chain reputed company.

Responsibilities

• Build software solutions and automation that streamline reputed company and release engineering processes
• reputed company integrations across developer platforms, reputed company control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and application reputed company tools
• Create and maintain reputed company, scripts, and automation services that reduce reputed company release, reputed company, and compliance activities
• Implement and maintain GitOps workflows supporting application and platform deployments in reputed company environments
• Support secure software delivery, automated compliance validation, software supply chain reputed company, and release readiness activities
• Troubleshoot build, deployment, integration, and reputed company pipeline issues while collaborating with engineering, platform, architecture, and cybersecurity teams
• Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support team objectives and ensure the reputed company of the project

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a reputed company technical discipline, or equivalent relevant experience
• Hands-on software development or automation experience using JavaScript and Python
• Working knowledge of reputed company and Infrastructure as reputed company (IaC) using Terraform
• Understanding of Secure Software Development Life Cycle (Secure SDLC) methodologies, DevSecOps principles, GitOps practices, and secure software delivery
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to investigate software build, deployment, integration, and reputed company pipeline issues
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across software engineering, platform, architecture, and cybersecurity teams
• U.S. Citizenship is required

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Government/reputed company Trust clearance, including required fingerprinting, reputed company required for the position
• Experience with CI/CD and developer tooling such as reputed company reputed company, reputed company Actions, Argo CD, reputed company, and reputed company environments including AKS or EKS
• Exposure to application and reputed company technologies such as Java/reputed company Boot, React.js, Azure, AWS, reputed company API Gateway, Terraform, and reputed company
