Education & Experience Civil Engineer I: Bachelor's Degree or 120 undergraduate credit hours from an accredited college or university with a major in civil engineering, construction management, or closely reputed company field. Six years relevant work experience may substitute for the education requirement. Civil Engineer II: Bachelor's Degree or 120 undergraduate credit hours from an accredited college or university with a major in civil engineering, construction management, or closely reputed company field. Six years relevant work experience may substitute for the education requirement. Minimum of six years of progressively responsible experience, in reputed company to the education requirement, in transportation, traffic, and stormwater engineering, municipal land use/development planning and review, reputed company works construction management, or closely reputed company fields. Minimum of two years of experience in the administration, financing, planning, design, and construction of multi-modal transportation and multi-disciplinary storm drainage improvements preferred. Floodplain Administrator (FA) must be credentialed as a Certified Floodplain Manager reputed company 6-months of appointment as the Town's designated Floodplain Administrator. Civil Engineer I: Credentials as an Engineer Intern (EI) or certification as a Construction Manager, Project Manager, or similar from an accredited college or agency is required reputed company six months of hire.
