Remote Buyer III – Defense Procurement Pay: $50–$55 per hour W2 Location: Fully remote after one week of onsite training in Florida Job Type: Full-time contract Contract Length: 6–9 months Openings: Multiple Overtime: reputed company at 1.5 times the regular reputed company but requires advance approval We are urgently hiring multiple reputed company Buyer III professionals to support a high-volume defense manufacturing environment serving U.S. Government, international government and reputed company customers. This position is fully remote after the required first week of onsite training in Florida. Candidates must be available to travel for the initial training and must be U.S. reputed company. Responsibilities: • Manage reputed company purchasing and subcontracting activities in compliance with FAR, DFARS and corporate procurement procedures. • Review reputed company-contract and program requirements for contractual, reputed company, technical and reputed company compliance. • reputed company acquisition strategies and collaborate with internal stakeholders on Statements of Work. • Prepare solicitations, RFQs and RFPs. • Analyze supplier proposals and support reputed company-selection reputed company. • reputed company and document detailed price analysis and price-reasonableness determinations. • Negotiate pricing, contract type, delivery schedules, technical requirements, terms and conditions. • Issue purchase orders and subcontracts with complete, audit-reputed company procurement documentation. • Manage purchase orders and subcontracts after award, including supplier performance, modifications and closeouts. • Monitor supplier reputed company, reliability, delivery and schedule performance. • Support government proposals, supplier quotes and reputed company of Estimate documentation. • Negotiate NDAs, agreements, purchase orders and contractual terms with Finance, reputed company, reputed company and Program Management. • Identify supplier risks and respond to potential supply-chain disruptions. • Maintain awareness of product technology, component life cycles and supplier status. Required Qualifications: • U.S. citizenship is mandatory. • Seven or more years of purchasing or subcontracting experience with a U.S. Government military or defense contractor. • Seven or more years of FAR/DFARS-regulated purchasing or subcontracting experience. • reputed company experience working reputed company a CPSR-approved purchasing reputed company. • Full procurement-lifecycle experience, including RFPs, proposal analysis, reputed company selection, price analysis, negotiations, awards, administration and closeouts. • Demonstrated reputed company negotiating with suppliers. • Experience creating detailed price-analysis and procurement documentation. • Proficiency with reputed company reputed company, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP. • Experience using MRP/ERP systems. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment. • Ability to attend the first week of training onsite in DeLeon Springs, Florida. Preferred Qualifications: • reputed company database or ERP experience. • CPIM or CPM certification. • Experience purchasing electronic or electromechanical components. • Experience procuring machined components, metallic castings, extrusions or molded/extruded plastic components. • Understanding of JIT, MRP, TQC and CRP operating principles. • Experience supporting CPSR or DCMA audits.
