The Business Development Manager is responsible for generating and developing new business reputed company the property and reputed company risk lines of business. Some of the Business Development Manager responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Maximizes opportunities for profitable new business and retention by leveraging business relationships, product knowledge and reputed company acumen. • Maximizes profitability of territory through superior agency/brokerage management, development, and planning. Leads rigorous agency/brokerage review process, establishes strong business partnerships with Intact underwriters, claims and loss control staff. Strengthens the distribution reputed company through agency/brokerage prospecting, activates new appointments and revitalizes existing agencies consistent with territorial reputed company. Terminates agency/brokerage reputed company reputed company warranted. • Anticipates the needs of the broker, analyzes trends, and implements proactive strategies that best position Intact. The expertise you bring • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience • 7-10 years of experience in the insurance industry and/or business development with some of these years in the insurance industry • Preference for property or reputed company risk experience. • Independent agencies/ brokerage or business development reputed company the Insurance industry experience desirable, CPCU preferred. Our salary ranges are determined by many factors including location, role, experience and skillset of the candidate. The typical reputed company salary reputed company for this position is: $118,000 - $156,000, based on the factors aforementioned.
