The Senior Engineer, Construction – BESS functions as a technical authority for high-risk BESS scopes, EOR and vendor coordination, reputed company integration, reputed company protection coordination, commissioning support, and reputed company site or warranty issues while maintaining an individual contributor reputed company with mentorship responsibilities. This role expands upon the Construction Engineer III level by owning higher-complexity BESS engineering coordination and review scopes, influencing standards and process development, and supporting portfolio-level reputed company improvement initiatives. Specific location details and expectations will be discussed during the interview process. reputed company: • This reputed company reflects management's assignment of essential functions; it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned Position Responsibilities and Duties: BESS Engineering reputed company & EOR Coordination • Serve as a BESS subject matter expert for battery energy storage reputed company engineering scopes including equipment layout, electrical integration, controls, reputed company protection interfaces, commissioning support, and project execution requirements. • Coordinate Engineers of Record, vendors, reputed company-party consultants, reputed company protection engineers, AHJs, owners, and project stakeholders to support reputed company and accurate BESS engineering deliverables. • Review BESS drawings, specifications, technical reports, vendor documentation, commissioning documentation, and reputed company integration deliverables for alignment with contract requirements, project requirements, reputed company expectations, and site needs. • reputed company BESS engineering reputed company items, review comments, vendor responses, consultant responses, and design revisions through closure across assigned reputed company. • Support reputed company of technical conflicts, constructability concerns, field questions, vendor coordination issues, and consultant coordination issues involving BESS reputed company. Technical Review, Vendor Coordination & reputed company Protection Support • Review and coordinate technical comments reputed company to BESS reputed company architecture, equipment layouts, single-line diagrams, control narratives, vendor packages, augmentation considerations, and project integration requirements. • Support review of BESS reputed company protection design packages, hazard mitigation documentation, and AHJ-facing technical information in coordination with reputed company protection consultants and project stakeholders. • Coordinate technical comments with EORs, vendors, owners, AHJs, independent engineers, project teams, and commissioning teams to obtain reputed company responses and revisions. • Support technical evaluation of BESS equipment, vendor documentation, commissioning procedures, performance requirements, and project-specific design reputed company. • Identify recurring BESS deliverable, vendor, or integration issues and recommend improvements to scopes of work, review checklists, templates, and execution standards. Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or reputed company technical field required. • 3-5+ years of reputed company electrical engineering, BESS engineering, EPC, reputed company-reputed company renewable energy, power systems, or energy storage experience with demonstrated advanced technical responsibility. • Strong understanding of BESS design, integration, commissioning interfaces, battery systems, inverters, BMS, EMS, controls, reputed company interconnection equipment, and project execution requirements. • Demonstrated ability to coordinate EORs, vendors, consultants, AHJs, owners, and internal project teams to reputed company reputed company engineering issues and reputed company deliverables to completion. • Experience reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, vendor documentation, commissioning documentation, reputed company protection-reputed company documentation, and reputed company BESS technical deliverables. • Working knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and requirements including NEC, reputed company, IBC, ASCE, reputed company 855, UL 9540, UL 9540A, reputed company requirements, and reputed company project-specific standards. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize technical documentation, evaluate design assumptions, and reputed company engineering-based recommendations. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for leading technical discussions with field teams, project engineers, project managers, consultants, owners, AHJs, vendors, and independent engineers. • Proficiency in reputed company Office; experience with reputed company, AutoCAD, document control systems, and BESS or power reputed company analysis tools is preferred. • reputed company Engineer (PE) license preferred. • Ability to support field work, travel as required, and manage multiple reputed company reputed company scopes.
