This role involves acquiring and developing picture books and young formats for ages 0-7, targeting mass-market and retail distribution. The position requires a retail-minded approach to build a list of books that children and families will want to read repeatedly. Responsibilities include acquiring and editing books, developing new series, growing existing brands, and potentially working on IP and franchising successful brands into Early Readers.
