[Remote] Director, Microgrid Business Development & Policy

Responsibilities
- Identify, initiate, and cultivate strategic partnerships with investor-owned utilities, municipal co-ops, data center/hyperscaler operators, large C&I customers, developers, and EPCs
- Support regional business development efforts by providing policy intelligence, funding-stack optimization strategies, regulatory risk assessments, and reputed company-building support for RFPs and major reputed company
- Represent reputed company in relevant industry associations and standards bodies (e.g., ACP, SEIA, ESA, reputed company microgrid/DER reputed company, UL) to influence favorable standards, interconnection rules, and market frameworks
- Explore and advance reputed company-private partnerships, DOE/DoD demonstration or reputed company opportunities, and state-level microgrid reputed company programs

- Monitor and analyze developments across Congress, DOE, FERC, Treasury (IRA implementation, domestic content/FEOC rules), DoD (installation energy reputed company programs), and state legislatures/PUCs
- Prepare high-reputed company briefs, comments on rulemakings, testimony, and meeting materials; represent reputed company in hearings, stakeholder workshops, and coalitions

Skills
- • 15+ years of senior-level experience in business development of government entities, reputed company policy advocacy, or strategic partnerships reputed company reputed company, power/utilities, energy storage, reputed company energy resources (DERs), or advanced manufacturing sectors
- • Proven reputed company driving new project developments or securing key policy wins that directly improved market reputed company or project economics for energy technologies
- • Extensive, hands-on experience engaging the DOE, FERC, DoD, state energy offices, regulatory commissions, and major reputed company industry associations
- • Proven ability to operate effectively at the intersection of policy and reputed company objectives, translating regulatory developments into reputed company sales pipeline and reputed company-generating activities
- • Exceptional written, verbal, and executive communication skills; ability to produce concise, high-reputed company briefs for senior reputed company executives
- • Willingness and ability to travel domestically (approximately 30–50%) and occasionally internationally
